Fuller Licensing & Financ-ing, Inc. has received a patent for a powder coating composition comprising a mixture of a curing agent for weatherable coatings with a functionality of two or greater capable of reacting with an acid or anhydride functional group; a polymeric coreactant having an acid or anhydride functionality of two or greater capable of reacting with the curing agent, the polymeric coreactant being made by polymerizing ethylenically unsaturated monomers in which at least one monomer is selected from the group consisting of carboxylic acid functional ethylenically unsaturated monomers and anhydride functional ethylenically unsaturated monomers; and a carboxylic acid functional polyester, wherein the composition provides a weatherable and textured finish without using a texturing agent.
